UK Government: Please Stop the Badger “Cull” Once and For All, Right Now!!!

Hello 👋,
Every year, in Yulin, thousands of dogs and cats are tortured and slaughtered for meat. Thousands, if not millions of people, across the UK and the rest of the western world are against this, many of whom are appalled, sickened and outraged. There are also some people in China and other Asian/eastern countries who are also against dog and cat meat.
Millions (if not more) of people in the UK would say that this is horrible and be very against it, and be appalled and disgusted by the slaughter of cats and dogs at Yulin...
However, in addition to the unjustified, violent slaughter of millions/billions of cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, etc, there are also other massive slaughters of animals right here in the UK, one of which being the badger "cull".
Badgers are a native species in the UK, one of the UK's only remaining land-based predators and a vital part of British ecosystems, controlling the numbers of rodents and rabbits. They have probably existed here for millennia. They have feelings and their lives matter, too. One person has said about hedgehogs being endangered and badgers eating them. Hedgehogs are more endangered due to human activity (e.g roads, destruction of habitats) than by the hands (paws!) of badgers. Hedgehogs and badgers have coexisted as species here in the UK for millennia, why should the badgers be causing their extinction now? Nature has a delicate balance. Upset the balance and we could be facing serious consequences for other animals, plants and humans.
Badgers have feelings and rights to live and live well. They do not deserve to be killed. Even if the killing is done "humanely" by shooting, the badgers may only be injured and succumb later on, in great pain and suffering. Even if they are killed quickly and"humanely", to deliberately, unnecessarily kill a sentient being is unjust and wrong.
The badgers are being "culled" in the interests of farmers due to concerns over badgers spreading tuberculosis to cattle. Here are the arguments I will use to that:
A) Research has probably shown that culling badgers doesn't work to halt, reduce or slow the spread of TB.
B) Why can't TB be controlled by the use of vaccinations and humane, non-lethal badger deterrents, such as firing guns carefully and safely to scare them away, the use of electric fences, shooing and scaring them away, the use of nonviolent, well-cared for, much-loved, rescued protection dogs and the careful monitoring of cattle and regular veterinary examinations of cattle and all other farmed animals, badgers and companion animals? Legislation could be enacted to make at least some of these humane, non-lethal alternatives to badger culling required by law.
C) As a (near) vegan, I must admit that I am opposed to animal agriculture on ethical grounds as it is. I must also say that there also many, many, many non-vegans who are also opposed to badger "culling", including (perhaps) some farmers.
D) There may even be some research that would suggest that badgers don't spread TB to cattle, and it may even be the other way around! As badgers eat rodents and rabbits, perhaps farmers should look on badgers and foxes (who, by the way don't kill that many lambs and can be kept out by use of electric fences) as their friends?
We stand against all "culling" of badgers in the UK, Ireland and everywhere else. Please, please, please, PLEASE permanently stop and outlaw ALL badger "culling"!!!!!!!!
Thank you 😊.
Best Wishes to all,
Rory.
Have the best day and night ever!
