Human Sewage & Chemicials Airborne

The Village Wastewater Treatment Plant at 613 Webster Road mixes HUMAN SEWAGE with leaves as they roll, and roll, and ROLL it over and over again to create compost pile. They mix a “perfume” in it to mask the overwhelming smell, but all it does is make a horrible chemical smell. The piles are sometimes open, fermenting and releasing a “white smoke” into the air as it FERMENTS. Sometimes when they mix and roll it, large clouds of black debris floats over our homes: particles of HUMAN SEWAGE and chemicals. New York State has issued the permit to allow this composting and spray the deodorizer.
This is what you’re smelling in the fall: the SEWAGE from the VILLAGE RESIDENTS mixed with CHEMICALS!
Many people are complaining of headaches and nausea, while some children vomit as soon as they leave their home. The residents closest to the plant cannot do yard work, check their mail, or have their children play outside because the smell is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING and causes IMMEDIATE SICKNESS!
The Webster Village has been mixing more and more sewage with the leaves year after year wasting millions of Village taxpayers dollars. Most of the sewage from the Webster Village is directed to the Webster Sewage Treatment plant run by the town. Only a small amount of sewage is kept at this facility in order to mix it with leaves. THIS COMPOST IS NOT WHAT THE TOWN OF WEBSTER DISTRIBUTES AT THE TOWN HALL IN THE SPRING. Most, if not all, village residents that come to the Wastewater Treatment Plant to get the free compost don’t know it contains human sewage.
PLEASE CALL AND TELL THE VILLAGE AND NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION THAT THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

NY STATE DEC Permits Manager Steve Fotie at the Avon office who has issued this permit: (585) 226-5408

Steve Fotie’s Secretary: (585) 226-5411

Gerald Rightmyer (Monroe County Health Department) (585) 753-5075

Webster Village Mayor John Cahill who has no intention of stopping this process:(585) 265-3770

PLEASE come and support your neighbors at the Webster Village Meeting on Thursday December 10th at 7:30pm at the Webster Village Community Hall at 29 South Ave. The entrance is to the immediate left of the BACK of the Webster Fire Department.
STOP THE COMPOSTING OF LEAVES IN A RESIDETIAL AREA WITH OR WITHOUT THE ADDITION OF HUMAN SEWAGE AND CHEMICALS!
