On the evening of March 7th, Pippy a Jack Russell mix was taking care of her litter of puppies...
when a police officer of Fayette County Police Department in West Virginia came into her home.
The officer was called out on a domestic situation, but....went to the wrong house.
One of the children let the officer inside the home. He entered in an agressive manner
which I am sure Pippy picked up on danger. She went to the officer and bit at the toe of his boot.
He took his heavy service issued flashlight and hit Pippy in the head and kicked her away.
Then upon finding out he was at the wrong address...apologized for hitting Pippy, telling the owner Pippy
was a good dog and doing what any dog would do by protecting her pups and her home.
He then left the home without doing an incident report, giving the owner his name....or identifying who he was.
While this was going on the puppies got loose and got outside in the dark and the family had to fetch the pups...
the officer disappeared. So this family has no idea what officer did this. Pippy survived two days following...
went to the owner whining and wanted in the kennel to nurse her babies...the family later found her dead.
This family is devastated...and need our support. I will be seeking justice in the form of identifying this officer
and when I can I will post that info on the page. I will follow the families wishes in what and how they want to handle
this...but I do want us to call the department when i get the info so we can let them know what this officer done was not
right....and the fact that he fatally injured Pippy...he destroyed the family and Pippy's babies.
We the people demand the name of this sheriff's officer and demand that he be investigated and if found guilty of
wrong doing face the consequences of his actions.
