Parking for pregnant women

Basically I want to fight for the right of Pregnant woman in their third trimester to have similar rights to that of blue badge holders when it comes to parking. One of the eligibility factors in applying for this badge is "people who have difficulty with mobility" I'm currently pregnant with my third child and in my experience being heavily pregnant definitely Impairs mobility and I would think that a huge percentage of pregnant woman would hugely appreciate this being offered to them. Especially those with secondary conditions caused by pregnancy.

Today I was outside my own salon, parked on double yellow lines (as when I was looking for a space there wasn't one fir miles) I was only in the salon for an hour as iv not been able to work due to pregnancy related problems. When I looked outside to find a parking ticket on my car and an inspector taking photos of my car. He had hidden from my view (also parked on double yellow lines???) for 5 minutes they said, and because I wasn't loading the ticket was valid. He could clearly see I am 8 months pregnant and I explained that I have been receiving Physio for my pelvis which keeps coming out of place, meaning is can't walk well.. Also iv developed a heart mummer due to being pregnant and anemia which makes me breathless.

The whole point in a blue badge is for disabled people to live as much of a normal life as possible despite their disability, surely pregnant woman should have the same right? The government need to look at this issue and address it. I think it's unfair that women who are heavily pregnant should be forced to park miles away from where they are going to ensure they don't get a parking charge when anyone else with a mobility problem has the right to park on double yellows or disabled areas making their stress levels stay low.

Stress can induce labour and I don't see why heavily pregnant women should be forced to park miles away from where they need to be just to avoid parking fines, especially if you have young children in tow.

Now before anyone thinks I have a problem with long term disabled people having badges I don't.. I have a disabled brother and my dad needs the badge he's been issued for him. I'd never say anyone did t deserve their help.. All I'm saying is that women in the third trimester need a bit of help too, they should be issued a temporary badge, this could end up saving the life's of babies in the longrun.. Most people wouldn't expect a pregnant woman to stand on a bus yet we are treated as a 100% able bodied person when it comes to parking.
It's not only mobility, when pregnant it's difficult to get in and out o a regular parking space with a bump it can cause injury and stress, Iv had to climb over to the passenger side to get out and it's not easy with a huge bump..
