Over the past four years, two students have been severely injured while waiting for their school bus in front of Simpson Road, Country Crossing Lane and across TECO. Not to mention this issue has been ongoing for years with little or no publicity. These injuries have been caused by people that are speeding through this road. There are no signs of slow down students crossing, flashing school lights, a crossing guard or a traffic light in this area. Children from Elementary schools through High schools wait for their bus in this area and some very early in the morning when is still dark outside. How many more children do we need to lose for something to be done? As a parent of a student that waits for his bus in front of Country Crossing Lane, where these unfortunate accidents have taken place, l request and demand a solution to keep our children safe!
