Uncommitted Dem Congresspeople Please Endorse Sanders

If Hillary Clinton wins the Democratic nomination, there is no hope for democracy in America.  She is a pro-war, pro-1%, pro-GMO candidate, and endorsing her indicates support for more corporate welfare in the form of bailouts, tax and budget cuts, privatization, and war at the expense of the American people. Please endorse Bernie Sanders, the candidate of the 99%, for the Democratic Party nomination.

Regarding war, Sanders has said: “Our response must begin with …. reflection [on the] failed policy decisions of the past – rushing to war, regime change in Iraq, or toppling Mossadegh in Iran in 1953, or Guatemalan President Árbenz in 1954..... These .... policies do not work [and] do not make us safer.”

In contrast, Clinton proposes endless war: “It is time to …. intensify and broaden our efforts to smash …. ISIS …. in Iraq and Syria .... with …. more allied planes, more strikes....” Clinton has also recommended a no-fly zone in Syria, which would put us in direct military opposition with Russia. Is there a worse direction for American foreign policy?

Clinton is in the pocket of Wall St. and other corporate interests; Jerry Crawford, her top campaign adviser, is a former Monsanto lobbyist. Clinton’s 2000 campaign filing from the Federal Election Comm. reveals 44 donations from Citigroup, 54 from Goldman, 36 from Paine Webber, 43 from Deloitte, 21 from Credit Suisse and 18 from Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. These are not all, just the most frequent, financial firm donors.

Also, it is well known Clinton dramatically energizes conservatives to vote against her; Sanders polls MUCH stronger against Republicans. Sanders is the more favorable candidate.

My name is Wat Stearns, I am disabled, and I know there are powerful interests trying to undermine and perhaps destroy the Social Security system that I depend on.  The lies and the policy actions against the interests of me and almost all other Americans are too numerous to track, but a few prominent examples are 1) Social Security is broke (it isn't, the SS Trust has a $2 trillion SURPLUS); and 2) Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction (he didn't) and it was necessary to attack Iraq (it wasn't) causing the murders of over 1 million Iraqis and displacement of millions more; and 3) the Ukraine crisis was caused by Russian aggression (it wasn't; covert American activity caused the Feb. '14 coup in Kiev).  These lies and many more are causing economic distress everywhere, not just here in the U.S., and are causing worldwide hatred to accumulate against us.

Bernie Sanders' record does not differ as much from these policies as do his speeches on the campaign trail.  But he is clearly different from Clinton and Trump, and his record does give some hope that he is serious enough to be a different kind of President in the way the American people need.  Please sign your name to help him get as many Congressional endorsements as possible.  He has only about four right now.
