SAVE RUPERTA THE ELEPHANT | STARVING TO DEATH IN CARICUAO CARACAS, VENEZUELA

RUPERTA, the 50-year-old Elephant that is starving to death in Caricuao Zoo in Caracas, Venezuela needs our help! Please sign this petition to encourage international and local government officials to take responsibility and save Ruperta!

Ruperta the 50-year-old elephant is innocent, and should not be a victim of the economic war and mass corruption in Venezuela. Please join me and ask the Caricuao Venezuelan Zoo to consider releasing  Ruperta and the surviving animals to qualified aid organizations, sanctuaries or zoos in more stable regions.

Many of these animals are already endangered, and to drag them through such suffering is senseless. Most of the animals have died from starvation already and Ruperta is one of the few remaining animals left.

Let’s implore the Caricauo Zoo’s owner to release all of his surviving animals to qualified organizations and sanctuaries that can nurse them back to health. It is their only hope.
