Fluoride is a recognised neurotoxic poison and banned from most European countries and Japan. It is also added to the Australian public water supply with tooth decay prevention cited as its purpose. Mass forced drugging of the population with fluoride impacts cancer rates, IQ, damages bones, brains, kidneys and thyroid and other severe effects. Bottle fed babies receive the highest dose due to their tiny body weight.
Adding drugs to water is unethical without informed consent, the dose cannot be controlled and affects everyone regardless of age, health or vulnerability. Fluoride accumulates in our bodies, largely in bones and the pineal gland, and there is no health agency monitoring the side effects of fluoride exposure. Never has a randomised control study proven the efficacy or safety of this drug in a water supply and tooth decay rates are comparable to nonfluoridated communites. Tooth decay remains in low income fluoridated communities.
Fluoridation of the Australian water supply is unscientific, unethical and one of the easiest environmental threats to end - just turn off the spigot at the public water works. But this takes political will and we need masses of more people to be informed and voice their right to clean drinking water.
