The Amur Leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis) is a beautiful species of leopard that lives in Far East Russia. It has been recorded that it can leap 19 feet horizontally, and 10 feet vertically.
And, they're critically endangered. These poor leopards face the illegal wildlife trade, poaching and lack of prey. All these things have brought its population plummeting down - only 30 live in the wild, and just 12 purebred Amur Leopards live in captivity.
We need to take action now. Without our help, the Amur Leopard will go extinct. And it'll all be our fault.
