"If your gonna wear it, Wear it Right!!!!"

I would like the general public to know the difference between , wearing a seatbelt and wearing one CORRECTLY. Only an owners manual ( mine does) will inform you and show you the correct way to wear one. Ive only owned one vehicle that the manual came with it and that's only because it was purchased new. After reading how dangerous it is to wear a sealtbelt across your stomach or abdomen, rather down low across your hips I wanted to know if it was mentioned in the Missouri Drivers Exam or written and the answer is NO it is not. Even if someone is fortunate enough to own a brand new car and manual I dont think majority of owners even consider reading the pages on seatbelt safety. Ive owned many used cars and not one of them came with an owners manual. Simple and plain; wearing a seatbelt across your stomach or abdomen rather than lower across your hips is dangerous and cause severe internal tearing of liver and intestines etc. These type injuries require urgent surgery with much higher post surgical complications and a higher mortality rate.
