Petition to Lower the Prices of Colleget Textbooks

The purpose of this petition is to convince the board of education to lower the prices of college textbooks. The prices of textbooks have increased by 82% in the last decade. As a result, students are struggling financially to pay for the costs of required books leading to lower academic scores. Textbooks should serve as an aid to a student’s education and not a financial meltdown.
