On Jan 9 ,the 23 year-old Mohammad Abu Khadeejah lost his life due to delivering a Burger King meal near Shmeisani Bridge in Amman, Jordan in the middle of the snow storm that hit the region few days ago. The restaurant's administration not only broke the Jordanian government's emergency law by demanding Abu Khadeeja's presence in his workplace, but also threatened Abu Khadeejah for losing his job if he got back home. The 23 year college student lost his life in a horrible car accident between 10 cars due to sliding on an icy road near the Jordanian Intelligence Office near Shmeisani, the thing that lead to his death and another driver's, and one serious injury.
We are signing this petition to call for justice for Mohammad Abu Khadeejah and his family. We demand for the Burger King headquarters' interference and compensation for Mohammad's family's loss. We also demand they take an appropriate action against the restaurant's administration whose irrational policies caused such a tragic death of Abu Khadeejah.
بعد الحادث الأليم الذي تعرض له الشاب الأردني محمد أبو خديجة و هو في طريقه للإيصال وجبة "برغر كنج" قريبا من جسر الشميساني و الذي تسبب بوفاته و وفاة سائق آخر و تضرر عشر مركبات نظرا للانزلاقات التي تعرضت لها بسبب الانجماد. ارتأينا لتوقيع عريضة لتصل للشركة الأم في ولاية فلوريدا بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. في هذه العريضة نطالب بتحقيق العدالة بتعويض الشركة الأم عائلة أبو خديجة و اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية المناسبة لمحاسبة إدارة المطعم و التي يعتبرها كثير من الأردنيين المسؤول الأول عن وفاة أبو خديجة بخرقها قانون الطوارئ الذي أعلنت عنه الحكومة في ملازمة المواطنين بيوتهم حتى زوال الأحوال الجوية التي تسود المنطقة.
