It has been a long debate between digital textbooks versus paper textbooks; to improve the environment of schools. I know that we live in a technology-based world but, I can not stressed enough the importance of paper textbooks; having a textbook right in front of you can offer so much such as a simple flip between several pages, whereas on a phone you have to swipe up until you get the right page. The school district is strongly desiring the path of digital and the problem of digital is that not all of the students in the district have internet at home; creating a huge problem. Whereas the students who do, will get distracted from the apps and lose track of their homework. Dear Arlington Independent School District, as a student who loves to learn, I know that even though we are drawing closer to the digital world, please let up keep something that keeps the memories of a life without the need of technology.
