Voter ID laws to “protect fraudulent activity” are actually serving as an excuse for racial discrimination.
Voter restrictions are in place that suspiciously benefit white people over black people and other minorities. In North Carolina there are records of these restrictions eliminating one Sunday of voting on the grounds that Sunday voting has shown to be “disproportionately black” and “disproportionately Democratic”. We must stop racism in our voting system.
