End Biased Racism in Law Enforcement

Law Enforcement should be required to take classes that strongly emphasize that race should not be a factor in determining a suspicious person. These classes should teach cops how to ethically and indiscriminately perform their job without accusing a person of being involved with drug related crimes based on their race or even a person's association with people of color. They should be taught to treat and assess all situations the same, despite a person's race, unless they are given reasonable suspicion. Law Enforcement should also set up requirements to only hire officers who are not guided by racism. They should be required to have psychological examinations that effectively determine their mental nature towards people of color. People almost always and unknowingly have subconscious racial prejudice, but those officers who's prejudice and bias exceed that of the average person should not be allowed to serve as an officer where they are given a power that is often abused - a power that does not require its user to have a decent amount of education or tolerance for the minority. Police officers should be thoroughly taught how to determine if someone is a threat based on the situation and behavior, not the race or stereotype.
