BBC Asian Network presenter Bobby Friction uses the term "Sikh Taliban" to describe some Sikhs discussing interfaith marriages.

The term is highly irresponsible and in an era of race hate attacks, such as that on Sarandev Bhambra by a white supremicist in Wales and the Oak Creek massacre in Wisconsin, United States where Sikhs were killed, again by a white supremacist.

These comments are very dangerous for both the Sikhs of today and in the future as the average person can pick up on such terms and make misconceptions. The Sikhs have made a huge contribution to British society and we deserve better then to be labelled as murderous, rapists and slave traders
