Release Dolphins in Captivity at Park in France

Many people in France are protesting the confinement of dolphins in various pools at a marine park there on the French Riviera. Animal rights activists, including Richard O'Barry, a marine activist who trained dolphins for the 1960s TV series "Flipper" are outraged at the decision to keep these dolphins in these pools when they should be surviving in their own natural habitat.

The management at Marineland Park in Antibes says it works to protect the environment and protect threatened species through special reproduction programs. These protestors waved picket signs at the entrance of the park, both in English and French as a way to be a voice for the animals of concern; the Dolphins. Let’s help in this effort by signing and sharing this petition. Save the dolphins from the captivity of the park and encourage the management to allow them to exist in their natural habitat.

Zoological Director, Jon Kershaw – We urge you to reconsider keeping the dolphins in captivity at the Marineland Park in France and allow them to remain in their natural habitat.
