Get Your Money's Worth: Demand Results from our Laboratory Fees Now!

Anatomy and Physiology is a challenging class for the vast majority of students. It is also essential for most majors relating to health, biology, nursing, and the medical field. If we are to entrust our health to future generations, we must ensure that our current students get a proper education. Anatomy and Physiology teaches the very basics of the human body, and therefore should be treated with the utmost importance.
The recent institution of "Laboratory Fees" was supposed to improve the quality of our laboratory studies immediately. However, not one change has been made to benefit the Anatomy and Physiology laboratory sections. Each section combined includes over 600 students, who only have access to a handful of broken models for the human body. A lack of these materials has severely impacted the quality of our time in lab.
We propose that UMass Amherst takes action to refund the money, $95.00 per student, that we have already paid because we have seen none of the promised changes that the lab fee was supposed to provide. We propose that UMass do one of the following:
1. Refund the money directly to students.
2. Credit each student from KIN 272 and KIN 270 with 1 additional credit.
3. Credit each student from KIN 272 and KIN 270 with a credit for a lab fee for next semester (Fall, 2016).
