Petition of support and affirmation of character for Earl Eversley Barrett known as "Earl"
A good union brother, father, worker, co-worker, friend and mentor.
Earl is known amongst his peers to be an exceptional hard working man, always there to mentor, motivate and inspire people.
Earl was the point man in creating a wellness program for all bus drivers at the Gun Hill Depot and was instrumental in creating gym activities and taught positive posture to improve and strengthen the resilience, functioning, and overall health of bus drivers - which he was passionate about.
Earl made this and many other sacrifices to help his fellow co-workers. Earl is someone that people look up to and say they did not give up because of him.
Suddenly in this new normalcy, we all have to take a second look back at our lives to see the pain, mistakes, and heartache we all have caused at one tIme but with God's grace we can hopefully look in the mirror and see redemption, growth, strength, lessons learned and a new pride in ourselves. With God's continued blessings, favor and protection we will all be given a second chance to get it right to use our talent, knowledge and wisdom as a teachable moment to help others. This unimaginable time we are in teaches us that life is too short to be trapped by our past mistakes. Thank God that we are all not judged by the worst of our mistakes but if given the opportunity, we can channel our past as a springboard to help elevate, inspire, and leave a footprint in this world. Earl has and with grace will continue to leave a positive footprint on the people blessed to have crossed paths with him.
