Stop Craigslist From Listing Animals on Their Site!

Since its first day on the web in 1995, Craigslist, a popular website dedicated to listing classified advertisements, has allowed a 'pets' category where people can freely list their pet and/or pet-related items for the local public to view. Any animal can be listed in this category and, upon being contacted for meeting arrangements, openly sold or given away to anyone for free! Many animal shelters/adoption agencies require a person's personal information and application to ensure that the animal being exchanged will be in a safe home with trustworthy guardians.

With the simplicity of receiving any item or animal on Craigslist, how can we be sure they are in good hands? Let's finally bring an end to the sharing of helpless animals on Craigslist who have no say or guaranteed, loving future!
