Sac Yard Tap House Noise and Parking Concerns

Our neighborhood is concerned about noise and parking issues that will come with the new business Sac Yard Tap House and Beer Garden at 33rd and Stockton. We are asking the city of Sacramento Community Development Department to:

1. Require that music and other amplified sounds be stopped at 10:00pm in accordance with residential ordinances.

2. Require that Sac Yard build a substantial sound barrier between their outdoor space and the residential neighborhood.

3. Require that Sac Yard increase the number of parking spots available to customers. Currently they have plans for only 5 parking spots but the capacity for 165 customers, and there is limited residential parking.

4. Require that the city put in speed bumps on 32nd, 33rd, and 34th streets to discourage inebriated drivers from speeding through a residential area at night.
