Ban Cell Phones in Police Vehicles

I can't even count how many times I have seen a Police officer texting and driving or playing with thier phones while at red lights or typing on thier computers. A Police officer is supposed to uphold the law, be vigilent, always aware of your surrounding. Obviously some of the police in our town think they are above all of that. I was hit by a person breaking the law right in front of a police officer there was nothing in the way the wreck was right next to her. the police officer said "im sorry i didnt see what happened" this police officer was on her phone. because she was not paying attention she wrote that it was my fault that the wreck occured. clearly the 400 ft he was going down a center lane, over the speed limit, right next to her went unseen because she was on her phone. I most likely can't get justice for what the happened unless i hire a lawyer and spend a long time fighting. But I can start this petition to possibly help others. No Cell Phones in Police Vehicles!
