Demand an End to the Gratuitous Mandatory Drug Screenings in Public Schools!

The students of Carroll County schools must submit to random drug tests in order to be involved with any extra curricular activities, drive to school, and/or have a locker.

It is unjust to have a school system force drug tests on their students. Even children have a right to privacy.

Please sign my petition to urge Carroll County schools to stop the drug testing!

Regardless of whether the student does drugs or not, many students are dropping extra curricular activities because they refuse to be a part of the madness. These drug tests also cumulate through the students' entire high school career. It violates human rights.

Public school students should not have to submit to random drug tests. If the student refuses to test it is counted as a positive or non-negative test, and the student will be punished as such. The students' parents will not be able to exempt their children from these tests either. Drug tests should not be mandatory by the school, and if the parent or guardian of the student denies the school permission to drug test their child it should be respected. The student should not be penalized for his or her right to refuse.
