Prohibit political contributions of more than $100.

After living with Citizens United and now McCutcheon, we feel that it is necessary to change the Constitution to prohibit political contributions of more than $100. By doing this people with the most money cannot manipulate the political system by choosing the candidates and financing their campaigns. This will secure individual voters equal footing with corporations, unions, political parties, pacs and other organizations while allowing all voters the right to free speech.

As we enter the final month before 2014 elections most of us see the damage being caused by huge political contributions and out of state money pouring in to local elections. Pass this petition around...make your friends aware of it. Let's work to stop this insanity.

Thank you all for taking time to sign this petition. It is apparent it is going nowhere fast. I have a couple recommendations for you. There is a petition by Wolfpac.com (not exactly the same but a similar thought)... you might want to check it out. There is also a new group working on the issue of getting money out of politics https://www.facebook.com/groups/WeThePeople.RestoreOurRepublic/?ref=br_tf some good people involved.Again my thanks.Charlotte Scot
