Put an End to US Primate Experimentation

For many years now, advocacy organizations across the globe have fought long and hard to get chimpanzees and other primates out of research laboratories. A hard-fought battle, and a success in most of the world.

Alas, the US is now among only TWO countries in the world that still continues to forge ahead with invasive research into this intelligent and social species, that is often compared to humans with their nearly 98% genetic similarity.

It is imperative that we get these sentient beings out of 'jail cells' and into sanctuaries where they can live out the remainder of their lives in peace. They deserve for us to give that to them after all they have gone through in the name of our own well-being.

Please tell your senators to support the Great Ape Protection and Cost Savings Act which is now in Congress. This will unlock their cells for good.
We the undersigned are writing to ask that you urgently support and push forward the Great Ape Protection and Cost Savings Act which essentially put an end to countrywide chimpanzee research.

The US is now among only TWO countries in the world that still continues to forge ahead with invasive research into this intelligent and social species, that is often compared to humans with their nearly 98% genetic similarity.

Getting these creatures out of research labs is long overdue. Scientists are unable to clearly communicate to the public any successes that are due to these continued studies. And, chimpanzees are sentient beings in their own right, that do not deserve to be locked up and experimented upon.

It is imperative that we get these individuals out of  'jail cells' and into sanctuaries where they can live out the remainder of their lives in peace. They deserve for us to give that to them after all they have gone through in the name of our own well-being.

Please support the Great Ape Protection and Cost Savings Act . After great suffering, we owe our genetic 'cousins' this at the very least.
