Get Acupuncture approved by Insurance (USA)

Acupuncture is a proven treatment for many ailments. It is generally non-toxic and without harm (unlike pharmaceuticals). It is usually less expensive than most conventional therapies and has been used in China for thousands of years to treat almost everything.
Seniors would benefit and perhaps our outrageous health costs would go down as some people might actually be 'cured' from conditions we currently accept as 'treatable' only.
The US private Insurance system generally follows what CMS decides. We need to change the coverage for really useful, simple treatments that can make a difference.

Dear CMS (www.cms.gov/),

It is time to grant coverage to acupuncture services.  This is a many thousand-year old system used in China and many Asian countries. It's use has spread all over the world.  It is safe and rarely causes any harms (mostly minor 'pin pricks').  Generally painless  and very often helpful in a variety of situations, including for people undergoing conventional cancer therapies.

Extend this to Medicaid as well and costs will be lower throughout the country.
