Please sign and share this petition worldwide on all media site in an effort to ask Israel to do their research and find better, nonlethal methods of controlling the wolves in their country rather than authorizing them to be killed. There has to be more humane methods of controlling the wolf population and concerns other than poisoning and shooting them.

Wolves are legally protected in Israel in certain areas and regions. However they can also be in danger of being hunted, culled and poached due to the fear of nearby ranchers. It is illegal to kill and poison the wolves, although this seems to be a more common occurrence in order to control the invasion of wolves in certain areas. One method to keep wolves out of certain areas where they are allowed is to confine them with fencing and barbed wire.

One of the safest areas for the wolves is the minefield in the Golan Heights, near the Israel-Syria border. Israel needs to enforce their protection for their wolves and ensure that they are not shot or poisoned as a way keep them away from ranchers properties. They need to stop rewarding ranchers for shooting and killing wolves find better methods that will keep them away from the properties; methods that are more humane safer for the wolves as well as the ranchers.

We are asking Israel to do more to enforce their laws against killing, poisoning and poaching wolves throughout the country. There needs to be better ways to monitor such situations. Ask Israel to implement better, nonlethal methods to confine and protect wolves and their habitat and severely punished anyone who violates these new laws and regulations. Killing is inhumane and not the answer!

Wolves live in packs of family units. They are extremely crucial for the ecosystem. They hunt together, patrol their territory together, and are deeply bonded to one another. Some wolves stay with their parents well into adulthood. It is these social ties that make wolves such powerful ecological players. The loss of pack members is therefore a terrible blow, both to the wolves and the ecosystem. They need to be protected.

Help us in our efforts to encourage Israel develop better nonlethal methods of controlling and protecting the wolf population and their country by signing and sharing this petition worldwide. It is illegal to kill and poison the wolves; however, still occurs. We need your help stop these practices and find better methods.

Israeli Government Officials, Fish And Wildlife Federation - Controlling the wolf population in your country has become quite difficult in certain areas, even though it is illegal to kill and poison them. We are asking please consider doing extensive research develop nonlethal methods that will control and protect your wolves and their habitat that is so crucial to your ecosystem. While developing better methods, also ensure that you enforce your laws and regulations against poisoning, shooting and poaching of wolves. Protect these animals and find better humane methods to control them and keep them in their natural habitats.
