On Street Parking for South Street between Broad and Main, Nazareth, Pa 18064

There are plenty of other through streets for traffic to be diverted as the bridge on Broad Street will be rebuilt. There is no need to take away parking of our cars as the street is wide enough for two cars to pass safely in both directions. This use of South Street will greatly impact the pedestrian safety of the homeowners as the need to park their cars in front of their homes is imperrative. Making the street a one way is truly the safest solution for all that this detour affects. This stems from poor planning on the part of the engineers. We petition the Mayor to enforce the use of a one way from Broad St. to Main St going westbound.
