Electronics refunds

I had my first experience with returning a defective electronic item, a tv that went out 4 months after purchasing it.  The store purchased from, Walmart did not want to take responsibillity and told me a customer has only 15 days to return electronics or they deal with the manufacturer. I do not feel this is ample time and feel that not only should the manufacturer take responsibilty for the products they produce but the store that sells them as well.  The consumer should not be left holding the bag to wrangle with manufacturers through telephone, email and the postal service to be treated fairly and provided what they paid for which is a dependable working product.

In this age of offshoring, and corporate greed where these very companies are using cheap labor in third world countries with deplorable working conditions and escaping paying taxes by hiding their profits in off shore bank accounts we need to all stand up and say enough is enough the buck stops here and make them take responsibility for the crap they sell.  The store I purchased my tv from Walmart hoards the majority of the wealth in the world and pay their employees slave wages with no benefits they can afford to do right by their customers.
