Republican Senator Kelly Ayotte just joined the ranks as one of the few individuals that has shown her support for Donald Trump.
Donald Trump has proven to be racist, sexist, and hateful. To describe just a small fraction of his offensive comments, he has called Mexican immigrants rapists, murderers, and killers, and he defended Trump backers who assaulted a homeless man for being Latino (because of Trump's anti-immigrant rhetoric) as passionate. He also said that those that have abortions should be punished, and Hillary Clinton won't be able to satisfy the country because she couldn't satisfy her husband (alluding to Bill Clinton cheating on her).
Let's join together to make sure that Senator Kelly Ayotte rejects racism and sexism, and rescinds her support for Donald Trump. As citizens of the United States, we can't allow Donald Trump to be who represents us. Americans -- we need to show Senator Ayotte we are better than this.
Dear Senator Kelly Ayotte,
Recently you publicly declared that you are supporting Donald Trump for the next president of the United States. Unfortunately, Donald Trump has proven himself to be sexist, racist, and overall full of hate.
Towards women, he has made comments such as saying Hillary Clinton can't satisfy her husband so she won't satisfy the country, and women who have abortions should be punished. Towards racial and ethnic minorities, he has made comments such as saying that Mexican immigrants are rapists and killers, and that his supporters who assaulted a homeless man for being Latino because of his anti-immigrant rhetoric are simply "passionate".
Please reject racism and sexism, and rescind your support for Donald Trump. As Americans, we can't allow Donald Trump to be the one that represents us, because hateful, divisive rhetoric and attitudes do not describe the United States.
