Recent case of animal cruelty has been seen in this video where three men are harming dog by tying firecrackers on his tail and laughing while the dog can been seen panic wanting to get rid of it.

Another incident took place on 11 November 2015 on the occassion of Diwali, when a un-manageable fire brokedown in a NGO Goonj's office due to firecrackers with a huge loss of money, space and it took 7 hours to control this fire.

Another incident was seen where a bull collapsed after getting severly injured after the left out firecracker was busted in its mouth while searching in garbage for food.
Firecrackers are busted in India on a very large number on various occasions like Diwali, Dussehra, Christmas, New-year, weddings and various ceremonies and for celebrations.
Not just firecrackers, scare and cause injuries, harm and death of animals and birds, they cause fires in the fields, forests and firecrackers, shops, houses, people living roadsides, they cause disturbance to old-age citizens and scare small kids, children and cause heavy pollution, climate change leading to various respiratory, eye diseases and accidents. They are a potent danger to the petrol pumps and the areas carrying fuels.
Thinking that firecrackers are not the only reason for all these and India is not the only country, won't ever make India and world a better place. We have to change and start from some point.
We the undersigned as concerned citizen want a ban on firecrackers in India as they are misused by the people, cause damage to climate, natural resources, wildlife and people. No money/business is more to the lives of the innocents. Celebrations are to be made with peace and that are safe to all.
