Demand that the Irish Government C.P.O. St Vincent's from The Sisters of Charity

It's time to start the ball rolling on the proper separation from the church and the State

We are about to hand over ownership of a 300 Million Euro building upon its completion to the Sisters of Charity just so we can build our National Maternity Hospital next to St Vincent's Hospital. This is upon the insistence of the if the Sisters who currently run St Vincent's hospital.

Although the board of the current National Maternity Hospital insist that there will be no influence from the Sisters, surely the fact that they insist on owning the new Hospital is a first step in slowly exerting influence.

Why Should the taxpayer gift this to the Sisters who even now still owe the state compensation for their shameful part in the child abuse as outlined in the Ryan Report 2009.

We the undersigned call upon Mr Harris to setup a Compulsory Purchase Order to buy the land needed at least or even the whole of the St Vincent's Campus. In doing so please also minus any outstanding money owed to the State by the Sisters for their horrendously shameful past transgressions.
I am an ordinary voter, not a member of any party but I see a glaringly obvious wrong and I need to speak up. Please add your voice.
