The organizers of the Women's March on Washington are calling for
A Day Without a Woman on March 8th.
As a leading company in this country, we are asking that FaceBook supports their female employees who strike.
By supporting female employees who strike if they wish on March 8th, FaceBook would be supporting a fundamental American value of organized protest. It's important that companies like FaceBook who have the ability to support efforts like these do so.
Please sign this petition to ask FaceBook to support all their female employees who decide not to work on March 8th in solidarity with #DayWithoutAWoman. If employees can't strike or if they will be retaliated against for doing so, the movement will be stifled and that harms us all. Ask FaceBook to lead in more ways than one by supporting their female employees to help show us what a Day Without A Woman looks like.
