Demand an end to animal torture in Greece

A puppy was found with cut limbs, tail and one ear, in Loutraki, Corinth. ( Daily press, 18 Nov.2015). The vet who received it after several hours could only do euthanasia in order to relieve it from pain. She said the baby's cry would never stop piercing her ears.
Supreme Court Prosecutor Mrs Euterpe Goutzamani has ordered an investigation following the outcry from the media and local animal welfare society.
Support her and local police and judges of Corinth, Greece, to find and give an exemplary punishment to the un-human who tortured the puppy.
This was only a recent case of violation of the Animal Protection Law 4039/2012.
The Federation of Animal Protection Societies PFPO campaigns to inform and make people aware of the correct and legal use of the animals as sentient and intelligent creatures and to support law enforcement. Cases of neglect, mal-treatment or brutality to stray or pet animals attract sanctions or legal prosecution, but they hardly reach the courts.
By signing the petition we give the message to all authorities involved that they are expected to enforce the law, help report animal abuse, penalize crime against animals and eventually to change the conditions of suffering animals in Greece
