Another teacher set to lose job at Thurlestone All Saints' Primary School

Yet another of our lovely learning support staff, Tasha Kostka is facing redundancy after the Local Academy Partnership said her services would no longer be required. Tasha, who has devoted over 4 years to looking after our children is completely devastated. She recently set up a pioneering 'eco-team' at the school giving youngsters first hand experience in caring and learning about our environment, creating a school garden, raising funds and reducing plastic use. Ms Kostka is also an amazing dance instructor and has been instrumental in setting up classes for pupils. She recently organised a 'Rising Stars' event to showcase the pupils' creative talents in art, dance, comedy and music. This has now been left to already busy parents to pick up. A general all-rounder in class, she is always there to offer support, a friendly face and a smile to any child who needs it. Tasha lives in Thurlestone village with her two children who attend the school and is part of the village community. Please sign the petition to let the LAP know we desperately want her to stay.
