Put a Stop to the Inhumane Treatment of Animals in the LA County Shelters!

LA Animal Shelters are not shelters but actual torture chambers for the poor animals that end up there!
- Immediate action on the part of the LA Board of Supervisors is required to stop the needless suffering and deplorable conditions in the shelters - especially Downey and Baldwin Park.
- I witnessed the filth, horrible odor and heat when I went to try to find a lost cat. The animals were crammed on the floor looking as though they'd lost hope. Other people have had the same experience and even the San Gabriel Valley Tribune wrote an article about the shelters.
- The community needs to stand together to demand better care for these unfortunate animals who can't speak for themselves.
