No New Puppy for Dog Killer!

  • by: Nyack Clancy

Japheth Daniel Stalcup, 25, or Eagle Creek Oregon is awaiting trail on March 25 after admitting to police that he killed 2 of his dogs with an axe because he couldn’t think of an alternative to caring for them.

In the meantime, he has a puppy despite a judge's order against it. As part of his conditions to be free from jail is the order of “no possession or living with any animals.”

In November, Stalcup initally reported his 2 dogs as missing. Two days later he reported he had found the bodies of Duke, a black Lab, and Buddy, a Lab-blue heeler mix 100 yards from his house. The dogs had been hit with an axe several times, and one was tossed from a cliff.

It is standard for defendants awaiting trial on animal abuse charges to not have contact with animals. Please remove the puppy for the home of Japheth Daniel Stalcup immediately.
