UK Honours For Sousse Hospitality Staff

On 26th June 2015 a group of hospitality workers in Sousse, Tunisia formed a human shield to protect their patrons from an armed terrorist who had just taken the lives of 38 innocent holidaymakers at the Hotel Riu Imperial Marhaba. Without their selfless act of heroism, many more would certainly have lost their lives and now that the tourists have left Sousse (according to local reports) many have been sent home with no psychological or financial support.

This petition is to appeal to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office Honours Committee to honour these individuals with an award in recognition of their outstanding heroism in the face of terrorism and saving the lives of British citizens abroad.
