Iran: Drop Unjust Charges Against Peaceful Activist!

  • by: Paige D
  • recipient: Hassan Rouhani, President of Iran

Narges Mohammadi will serve the unjust sentence of 16 years.

Her crime? Defending human rights.

Narges is the Vice President of the Defenders of Human Rights Center and helped create the "Step by Step to Stop Death Penalty" Group which is a group committed to reducing the number of executions in Iran.

As a human rights defender, she will now serve the unjust sentence of 16 years in jail for "establishing an illegal group," while she suffers from a neurological disease and has been denied medical treatment.

Please sign to tell Iran to immediately drop unjust charges against Narges Mohammadi!

Dear Hassan Rouhani, President of Iran;

I strongly urge you to drop unjust charges against Narges Mohammadi!  Defending basic human rights is not a crime.
