End Hospital TV provision exploitation now

Stop this cruel exploitation of vulnerable hospital patients now . As we sit at home in the evening and enjoy free movement . stimulus of our choice hobbies , interests , work leisure pursuits these are unavailable to those in a hospital setting.
Many especially those with serious illness are captives of a bedside chair or hospital bed .
Watching the nurses and other staff walk up and down , listening to the conversations of others .
Hearing what are essentially confidential interactions with patients by professionals through flimsy paper curtains is the only distraction forced on many inpatients.
The hospital TV systems are priced beyond the means of many and are shockingly exploitative in price .
This provision is essential for many and no matter how many repeats at least provides some stimulus and distraction.
There are so many blogs and accounts of this by patients , family and friends of those in hospital .
They have fallen on deaf ears though it must be said that this deafness is a result of hospitals not wanting to hear .
We must fight to confront the "we don't provide the systems " lame excuse .
Open up this provision to competetion .
Fight for the availability of free view TV with s small amount payable for the licence and the provision of the TV set for patients .
End the marginalisation of the poor , the elderly the patients who have bills to pay, families to care for and health worries who have to pay exhorbinant amounts for a provision available outside of the hospital bed for free.
Not everybody is tech savvy, not everyone in hospital can use the internet think of those profoundly disabled by stroke, by accident or illness , the elderly .
This outrageous costing for basic TV would be open to scrutiny elsewhere why do hospitals get away with not opening up this provision to competition .
Please sign and give your backing and lobby to change this for those who really need this facility
