Motorcycle violence

  • by: Al Stann
  • recipient: Carlos Ghosn - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.

The current Nissan Juke sales campaign is grossly irresponsible, glamorizing velicular homicide of motorcyclists. The video graphicly deplicits The Nissan Juke intentionally chasing and impacting motorcycles with great force, causing dramatic distruction of said vehicles. The shocking footage is deplicits these criminal acts with disassociative disorder and disconnection of empathy of human suffering in the style of video games. Promoting sociopathic tendencies is appalling of any orginization. Current stastics show motorcycle fatalities are overwelmingly at fault of automobile drivers. Rather than encorage safety and try to reduce these fatal incidents, Nissan chooses to encorage them.
The above must be immediately remidied by:
1. Ceasing and desisting the violence promoting campaign.
2. Making public apology and denouncement, to a degree that equals the extent of the reach of the origional campaign.
3. Create a 'Look for motorcycles" campaign of equal extent and coverage of the offending campaign.
The ad had been in progress for over a year, dispite earlier outcry,is still in circulation, and was recently changed to 'password only'.A poor attempt to throw a fog over their continuing damage.
