Stop Ignorance in the Name of Religion

The Jewish scriptures teach that humanity began circa 4004 BC. This may be determined through using the ages of various men when they had their first child...and the age of that child when the next child was born etc. Also important are the years from one event to another. We now know that humanity is much older. Native Americans for example came to the Americas by at least 15,000 years ago. These peoples lived on despite the later biblical myth that humanity had not yet started.

The bible teaches that ALL LIFE not on a boat known as Noah's Ark ...died. The scriptures teach that this was a global flood. This means that any life in the Americas MUST have died. All humanity in the Americas would have to have died in Noah's flood or the passage would be a lie. All animal and plant life in the Americas MUST have died during that time otherwise the section describing Noah's flood must be a lie. Either ...all life died how and WHEN the bible says it did...or the story is not true. Present day Native Americans live on. It would be impossible for Native Americans to be present now if ...their ancestors all DIED in a global flood. Note the same is true of Australian Aborigines, Africans, Orientals...etc. Note that the Ancient Egyptians had a Dynasty and the Sumerians had kingdoms long before the flood date. Both groups kept written records and failed to note that they were destroyed in an alleged global flood.

Note that many plants that are found ONLY in the Americas such as ....American cotton, corn, beans, squash, white potato, tomato, pumpkin, many nut species such as the peanut, chocolate, and vanilla...to name a few plants. That Americans to this DAY can sit in their cotton jeans and T, and eat fries (white potato) and ketchup (tomato) indicates that the ancestral plants did NOT die but produced offspring that live on to this day.

If the Americas were rendered nothing but dead mud as far as the eye can see, then all animal species would have been dead. Feel free to look up on the internet animals present only in the Americas. Just like with plants there are a large number of animals that ...evolved here.

Now you may try to claim that ...this is all from the OLD testament and these were just ...stories told to teach some point. Jesus however allegedly taught those stores as TRUE, and counted Adam and Noah among his direct ancestors. (See Luke 3 as an example). Would a god, or someone in direct contact with a god be so ignorant as to when the world started, and the presence or absence of a global flood (Noah's flood) in history.

Ancient people knew that it is possible to find remnants of marine life such as sea shells on mountain tops. They guessed that this meant that the world had been totally under water in the last few thousand years. Since they were really NOT...in contact with an all knowing supernatural being...no one informed these scripture writers that the true story was that mountains could push upward from ancient sea floors by a process involving plate tectonics. Bible writer guessed at an explanation and guessed wrong. The writers creating fictitious Jesus had no way at the time of catching the error so carried on accepting the fiction as fact.

Once the Adam and Noah stories fall, the divinity of Jesus falls. Islam builds on the Jewish and Christian myths and therefore also falls.

Further delving into the scriptures reveals a stay of the Jewish nation in Egypt, mass Exodus, and conquest of the eastern Mediterranean which apparently was also fiction. It was an attempt to establish a land claim to a vast area of land on the Easter Mediterranean.

If the bible is a lie, then Yahweh is a lie, and this lie has to have a history as to when and why it developed. Feel free to read about Canaanite gods. There was a family of gods in the region. Yahweh was a southern addition. The Yahweh priests gradually gained power. Spin regarding yahweh went from one of many ...let US make man, have none of those OTHER gods before me (from the creation story, and from the first of 10 commandments). That first commandment indicates a belief that there were...other gods..but yahweh was the priority. The idea that yahweh was the ONLY god....came later. Yahwah was more humanoid in the beginning and walked to and fro in the breezy part of the day in the garden of eden and could LOSE the first human pair and need to find them. An omniscient (all knowing) and omnipresent (present everywhere) being ....yahwah was not...at least at first. All knowing beings can not ...misplace things. Omnipresent beings can not...walk over...here...and then walk over there...as they are always both places as well as at all other locations. Yahwah had a right and left hand, a face and a back. Remember moses allegedly was not allowed to see his face but could see his back after he moved by. (Again this is not consistent with omnipresence).

God was a god for the Jews only...then this changed.

The point being that the Yahweh stories developed and changed. Yahweh was a human construct that evolved.

Science falsehoods abound in the bible ex. Joshua making the sun stand still...or animal offspring developing coat markings based not on genetics but based on what their parent animals see during mating. This latter story is in Genesis 30 and sharply contrasts with the truth about genetics and inheritance. If the bible WERE true...we could hang paisley sheets around sheep farms and develop animals with fascinating coat patterns. Yes the stone age scriptures have become that much of a joke in the modern world.

Still despite the need for members of the government to promote knowledge in reading, history, science and mathematics...members of congress promote ignorance by professing belief that the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim scriptures can even REMOTELY be true.

It is well PAST time ....that members of government STOP pandering to superstition and ignorance. The scriptures from the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim faiths are a set of human created stories. These scriptures contain falsehoods so can not POSSIBLY be the inerrant word of any god.

Does this indicate there is NOTHING out there? No! Does this indicate there is SOMETHING out there? No! It does indicate that the Jewish, christian and muslim scriptures do NOT promote truth nor promote an understanding of a god. To date there is NO proof of a god. There is proof that yahweh as described in the jewish christian and muslim scriptures...does not exist. The god...who created humanity 6000 years ago, and caused a global flood ending all life not on a boat circa 4300 years ago...does not exist.

For humanity to MAKE progress....prior beliefs found to be lies...MUST BE discarded. It is inappropriate and dishonest for political leaders to cling to known lies. It is a disservice to the people whom politicians allegedly serve to pander to mass superstition.

Instead...we the people....petition you political leaders to EMBRACE honesty...and openly admit the Jewish, Christian and Muslim religions are superstitions NOT based in fact. It is TIME for honesty regarding these beliefs.

Know that IF you do NOT follow what is requested in this petition you will become the laughing stock of any semi intelligent 8 year old able to read on Wikipedia for free about the topics discussed and continue with further studies from there.

Which would you rather do, take the lead in giving up superstition and be a hero / heroine OR cling to superstition long enough to become a public joke?

The internet and free public information such as wikipedia have given the public a means to uncover this HUGE lie. Religion is feeding into world wide ongoing wars and ignorance. Its time this stopped. This century is the one where you may ride that wave of change...letting go of that superstition,..or get washed away by the wave as a public joke

Admit you no longer believe in scriptural fairly tales. Stop funding "faith based" programs. Insist that government funded programs be secular. Remove religious based symbols, and quote from public buildings. Stop insisting that stories from the bible such as creationism be given equal time in schools. Move to remove religious holidays from the list of National holidays and replace these with secular days such as the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. Stop any prayer at government gathering. Stop setting aside space for prayer in government funded buildings. Insist that federally funded schools... STOP hosting religious events and stop having prayer at school events.

Publicly announce that YOU...no longer believe in books / scriptures / belief systems that have been found to be lies. Indicate specifically that the jewish religion, the christian religion and the muslim religion contain lies and therefore will no longer be endorsed in any way by you.

Encourage state and local governments to drop pretense toward belief in these religions. Encourage business leaders to follow suit. Truth should take priority over tradition.
