Pittsburgh police said a man and a woman who offered a ride to two men Sunday afternoon were robbed and shot in Allentown.

In a press release, Pittsburgh police Cmdr. Thomas Stangrecki said the two victims, a 22-year-old woman and 30-year-old man, offered a ride to two men and dropped them at the 900 block of Industry Street shortly after 4 p.m.

After they climbed out of the car, one of the men shot the two, striking the man in the chest and the woman in the chin. The two men stole a cell phone and the car keys and ran into an alley towards Climax Street.

The man's injuries were initially considered life-threatening, though Cmdr. Stangrecki said today that both are expected to survive.

Pittsburgh police asked anyone with information on the case to call homicide detectives at 412-323-7161.

Please help us find this man and prosecute him.

Up-date as of 10/27/12 still no arrest made for the man who did this.My son is healing and doing well now.
