Save The Magnificent Snow Leopard - 4A Action Against Animal Abuse

The Snow Leopard is a most amazingly beautiful feline and is in great danger of becoming extinct. There are only thought to be about 4,000 left in the wild living in an area bordering several Asian countries, they are so elusive it is hard to put an exact number on them and so could be less than this.We aim to target the governments of India,China,Kyrgyz Republic,Mongolia,Nepal and Pakistan. The Snow Leopard is falling victim to poaching for hides and body parts(for ancient medicines that have no proven beneficial effects) for exotic fur coats, loss of habitat, retribution killings from villagers and herders and lack of natural prey.We hope to ask the various governments to provide funding for protection of these wonderful cats ,providing a "Protected Species Status " law and help increase their natural prey.We hope to deliver a copy of the petition to each government Embassy in London and speak to an enviromental delegate in the process. Please sign today ,tomorrow maybe too late, "Extinction Is Forever" This petition is being supported by the 4A groups who fight against any animal abuse. Please also support the "Snow Leopard Trust" who are doing a wonderful job in trying to ensure their survival.Every signature counts so please share, every individual can make a difference.

I have now put the signature number up to 5,000 which will have far more impact.

Dear government officials and citizens. We ask you to provide more protection for the magnificent snow leopards who will very soon become extinct in the wild. They need to have their habitat protected, an ample supply of natural wild prey and protection from poachers, people who use their body parts in ancient medicines which are proven to have no beneficial effects whatsoever, fur traders, trophy hunters and farmers who lose livestock who could be compensated for this and not kill the leopards. There are less than 4,000 left in the wild, they cannot survive without your help.Your country will be greatly admired and honoured for help in protecting them and conservation efforts to protect their habitat. We thankyou for your time in reading our petition.
