Please sign and share this petition nationwide on all your media sites so that we can gain justice for 19 animals found abused in Livingston, TN near the Nashville area. Several dogs, horses and a cat were found leaving in deplorable conditions when investigating this home and property and the owners and caretakers need to be held accountable for the cruelty, abuse and neglect of the animals in their care.

After receiving tips on the conditions of the animals in notably poor condition, the Overton County Sheriff’s Department along with the Animal Rescue Corps (ARC) went to investigate the property and home in Livingston, TN, which is actually a little over an hour east of Nashville. When arriving, they discovered several horses, dogs and a cat living in horrific conditions.

Seven adult German Shepherds were emaciated with insufficient shelter with no food or water. They were all chained outdoors to trees. They also discovered five puppies around a month of age living outside in freezing temperatures; three of them were emaciated like the adult animals.

The horses were found living in several inches of mud with no food or water nearby. The cat was also emaciated and suffering from anemia and internal parasites. During the investigation, the president of ARC stated that “There wasn't a morsel of food on the property. No dog food, no hay or grass, and no water. The dogs were desperate and eating their own feces. I'm thankful that the property owner surrendered 100% of the animals so we could act quickly to save them.”

The dogs and cat were transported to an emergency shelter that was set up by ARC, while the horses will be cared for by Safe Harbor Equine and Livestock Sanctuary in Gallatin. All the animals are undergoing medical care and treatment, hopefully getting ready to be adopted by good, caring new owners. In the meantime, please help us in our efforts to make these abusive owners held accountable by sign and sharing this petition every possible as a means to spread the word and gain justice for those beautiful creatures that suffered at their hands and have no voice to protect themselves.

Tennessee Overton County Sheriff’s Department & ARC – It is very heroic and impressive how you stepped up to help all those animals on the Livingston, TN property. Someone needs to be a voice of intervention for those horses, seven German Shepherds, the ill cat and five tiny puppies living in such horrific conditions. Whether these “owners” handed over all the animals during the investigation or not, it took them a great deal of time to get those animals in such deplorable conditions. It is clearly a case of cruelty, neglect and animal abuse. These people need to be severely charged for at least 19 cases of felony animal abuse, with repercussions of harsh punishments. All those responsible also need to be banned from every owning or caring for another animal for the rest of their lives. Please be a loud voice for each and every one of those animals and fight for their justice.
