Why is this petition important? Well, let me answer that question for you. This petition is about keeping our water clean as well as being able to find a way to reuse it so that we can all have fresh water. "There is only 1% fresh water on this entire planet and 1 out of 5 people don't have clean water to drink",(Webecoist.com).
Finding a way to reuse any type of water from dirty to clean and salty to fresh we be a huge step. With this petition we would be able to let the companies that keep our water clean know that this issue really needs to be fixed. If possible if this issue was solved then it could help people globally and let us all have clean drinking water.
The companies that clean the water could have developers find a way to make any type of water clean. Even if it could take a very long time, the fact that the 1/5 of the worlds population with little to no water could have clean nourishing water is a huge step. We could literally drink ocean water and have no shortage of water for millennium to come.
Many would say its impossible for this to occur, but its not. Just putting all of our minds to it can make the job easier and get it done quicker. The people putting the effort into this issue would ask for tons of money and people worry that a huge global issue being fixed would cost quadrillions and quadrillions of dollars. Sometimes the thought of helping yourself and tons of others struggling to survive is worth more than money. Being the person who helps a thirsty child in Africa or a homeless family in India can raise the motivation levels to have the ability to make a huge change.
