Individuals with training have applied for meaningful employment and housing and are turned down because of their criminal history. They have paid restitution to society and should be allowed to make a positive contribution by being able to help support themselves and loved ones.

There has been many people that has turned there life around after being incarcerated and wanting to seek employment. After going through the courses and obstacles necessary to gain employment, people are still getting turned down because of there criminal history. People who have changed there lives, willing to take care of their families or even trying to better themselves are still jobless. With that said, I am writing this petition for all individuals and families who are willing to make a change.
