Freedom Should Be Given Not Taken

My name is Terry S. Bradley. I am facing charges for what is legal in twenty states. I qualify in all twenty states for medical marijuana. Yet when applying for my rights to be given back so I could leave what has always been home. So that I no longer had to face what I do now, I was denied! My rights all were taken at the same time! Yet only my rights to vote was given back but not right away. Why was my rights taken? They were taken for possession of marijuana. I finely applied to get my other rights back once becoming homeless and was reminded to apply.
I applied to get my rights back on the grounds of drawing a mental disability check, living well below poverty and homeless. This was ten years after all was over with. I was denied and told it would be two more years before I could reapply!  The very systems designed to help someone like myself were denied me, keeping me living on the streets .  With out all my rights I can not leave my home of Alabama.  I live in one of the cheapest states in the country. If I can not afford to live here without my rights. I can not afford to live any where of which I could have gone and not be prosecuted again for something that has saved me more than it has ever hurt me.
The law that holds me here is a federal law which strips all your rights across the country for public housing, food stamps and the right to vote, all at the same time. How could they not be given back at the same way? Rather than picking and choosing which rights I am entitled to.
If you kick a man to the street and you keep a man in the street, you can not expect him not to play in the street, if only to sleep in the street. This is unjustifiable and equates to entrapment. If not allowed to stand, then how can one stand? Don't get me wrong it is not as if I had not tried.  As a homeless man I became a published poet, and children's book author of "How Bees Came To Make Chili".  I as well put my label on honey by working out a deal with a honey supplier. Still after all this nothing is allowing me to live better than I have yet. It only provides a way to keep my hope alive that someday things might be different. That I might one day truly get a chance to live life.
I am not in any way promoting children should do any drug. Though there are those who might be helped by doing so I am no doctor and only know what is best and works in my own life in order to keep my faith and hope along with my body alive. I can not afford an attorney and there is no allowable defense accepted in this state or in the country that I know of. This as well is unjust as even some accused of murder can walk free. I ask that everyone sign this petition for my freedom and to stop the war against our own people that has done more damage to American's lives than smoking a joint and laughing at bad television could ever have.
It is pure madness that our own government wage war against us affecting millions of lives. Even more so that we now and have had Presidents who smoked marijuana. Only proving this war should have never been brought against us. I am in a fight for my life. Though there is no reason this is of your concern. With out change it very well could be the injustice you or a loved one faces across this nation.
Twenty states have said they are tired of this injustice almost half the country. Still in over half the country labels are being hung on undeserving court victims, at a cost our government should no longer allow. But should allow us all to stand and seek out what is best for our own mental state and well being. I should not have to leave the state I was born in, love and call home. Yet to live a better life without persecution.  I gladly would have done so if at all possible.
Sincerely
Terry S.Bradley
