Care for animal rights in Greece!!!

Animals here in Greece are treated horrible! Stray dogs and cats and uncountable, many animals get poisoned, many pet owners mistreat their pets, most times without even knowing they are commiting animal abuse! No one spays their pets and puppies and kittens are thrown away like garbage. No one does anything to change this! Every one ignores the law and the state doesn't care. Animals' bodies who were hit by cars stay by the roads until they rot. There are people who torture and kill animals and they get away with it. THIS MUST STOP!!!
