Induct New Kids on the Block into Madame Tussauds Wax Museum

New Kids on the Block assembled in 1984 under the creation and guidance of Maurice Starr. After releasing their first album in 1986 (New Kids on the Block) they went on to sell 80 million records worldwide (and counting), worldwide concerts were sold out and millions of dollars worth of merchandise were created and sold. They were quickly dubbed "The Hardest Kids in Show Biz" and have since then, more than proved it. With millions of fans across the globe, known as BlockHeads, their undying love, determination and unity has become contagious. Multi-generational fans have united with each other as well as NKOTB and have become family. NKOTB became the foundation for other boy band acts such as NSync, Backstreet Boys and One Direction. And now to add to their long list of success, on October 9, 2014 New Kids on the Block FINALLY received their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In their almost 30 years together, they have yet to be inducted into the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.

We, the fans, are proud and strong. United and global we stand for not only their talent but the love that they have given to us. We share this love in return, not only to the New Kids on the Block, but to each other. We proudly request that New Kids on the Block be inducted into  Madame Tussauds Wax Museum as an honor, not only to them but to us as well. For together...we are 5 Brothers and a Million Sisters!

October 11, 2014

Dear Madame Tussauds,

On behalf of myself and millions of sisters/fans, of New Kids on the Block, we proudly and respectfully request that New Kids on the Block be inducted into your wax museum. New Kids on the Block consist of members Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood, Jonathan Knight and Jordan Knight.

On April 21, 2013, I created a petition on the website Care2.com. This petition’s ultimate goal was to persuade your wax museum to induct New Kids on the Block. The end date for this petition came and went with a little over 2,500 signatures. Now that the New Kids on the Block have received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, this petition is hereby being reactivated.
